I’ve reenabled UPnP and it seems to still work fine.
When I try to open a port in Port forwarding, I could do it, but the. I own a Netgear rp614v3 firmware 6.1RC5 and i have some problem related to port forwarding. I did it before, but then the ports weren't showing up on the port forwarding list. The WHS dashboard wizard doesn't work but apparently that's a known quirk with Netgear's UPNP. Currently got it wired into my Netgear DGND3700v2.Also the DSM Tool sometimes struggles to see the R7000 as a upnp router.

After the last R7000 firmware upgrade the router loses the port forwarding rules if you reboot it. I use Diskstation DSM software to configure port forwarding.If you see an IP address something like 192.168.1.50 or under STATUS No UPnP Gateway – the camera is not mapped to the external IP. You should see Success and your Gateway External IP Address (your public address from step 1). If your Netgear model number is not in the list below, we recommend following one of the Netgear D814 guides found by clicking this link. Other than that, the menu to the left of the screen should be pretty basic to follow. A Netgear router will sometimes refer to a port forward as a service making it a bit confusing. Most Netgear routers are pretty simple to setup.
